Chris Hudak for
Union County Freeholder

As a member of the Board of Chosen Freeholders since 2010, I have focused on infrastructure growth, education, substance abuse treatment, and recreation opportunities for Union County residents.

I helped lead the County through the launch of free Wi-Fi at County facilities, new facilities at Union County College and the Union County Vocational High School, and the construction of numerous recreation facilities in Union County Parks.

During the public health crisis, I’m proud of the work done by our County’s drive-thru testing facility — the first in the state. We recently passed 20,000 tests, and tests are available for all residents, regardless of symptoms. I plan to invest in job training
programs and economic opportunities as soon as it’s safe to open up.

I have fought to cut wasteful spending, the County has a AAA bond rating, and recently our Board delivered the first 0% tax increase in over a decade. Also, I have spearheaded the creation of the Union County Infrastructure Grant program, a program that has distributed $9.0 million in matching grants for road resurfacing and other municipal infrastructure priorities.

I would you appreciate your support for myself and all of my running mates in Column B, thanks for the opportunity.
