Joe Petrosky

 

 

Joe Petrosky Councilman Petrosky began his second term as Second Ward Councilman on January 1, 2019. He has been a Roselle Park resident for over 50 years and is a 1976 graduate of the Roselle Park School System; a 1978 graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute. He has been employed as a Carpenter with the County of Union for over 30 years. He is a Past President and member of the Roselle Park Youth Baseball league for over 40 years. Likewise, he is a Past President, member, and coach of the Roselle Park Recreation Basketball League for 30 years, a member and coach of Roselle Park Youth Soccer League for 20 years, and a member of Roselle Park Men’s Softball league for 25 years. Joe is a parishioner of the Church of the Assumption and member of Monsignor Joseph Loretti Knights of Columbus 3240. He is also a member of the Roselle American Legion Post 229.

Councilman Petrosky serves as the Chairman of the Finance and Administration Committee as liaison to the municipal budget and finance, and Chairman of the Public Services and Administration Committee as liaison to legislation. He is a member of the Public Safety Committee as liaison to the Fire Department, and a member of the Municipal Services (DPW & Engineering) Committee as liaison to the Department of Public Works. Councilman Petrosky has been elected Council President by his colleagues on Borough Council since 2019.
