PLAINFIELD, NJ — Dr Darcella Sessomes and Julienne Cherry celebrated their Plainfield City Council victories at Democratic Headquarters on Tuesday evening. While Cherry ran unopposed for the First and Fourth Ward seat, Sessomes had to hold off a write-in challenge by incumbent Second Ward Councilman Sean McKenna.
